One of the new trend in design is "tone on tone" or colour layering. The meaning is: a fabric or design dyed or designed using different shades of the same colour. The key is to choose shades of the same colour. This can be any colour You like (white, brown, green, it works with all colour. But have the same undertones, either cool or warm.
You might think it will be dull, but If you choose the colours according this it will be just very stylish and chic.

But there are some deco tricks, what You can use to pop your design:
- mix and match - mixing and matching patterns, materials, textures, but keeping them in the same colour - will give an interesting look for your design
